    Its days like these..

So I stepped into my bathroom this morning and proceeded to take a shower. After that I proceeded with my usual routine of gelling my hair (cos I'm vain), all this while still semi-drunk from all the partyin last nite. When I started massaging the gel onto my head, I notice something very strange; my hair was becoming all foamy!!

I was like "What the FUCK??". Did my gel turn bad or something?? Did it expire??? Why is my hair all soapy??

It's only then I realised that I got fucking FACIAL WASH on my head instead of hair gel!! FUCK, and I'm already late for work..!! So I started cursing at the fuckin facial wash, complaining about why all these tubes gotta look the same.

On the bright side, my hair was extra smooth today.

Sigh...No more partying out on weekdays. Its too much torture waking up the next morning.

P.S: Although, it was worth it. Take care Sazman and it's a pity you won't be joining us on our second trip to Perhentian. Looking forward already to your coming back party!!

    Smile

Walk into a club on a Friday night and what do you see? Everybody happy, crazy and all touchy-touchy. Complete strangers suddenly become best friends and lame jokes somehow become extremely funny. Introverts start talking to everybody who walks in the club.

Who says alcohol is bad for you?

If anything, alcohol consumption should be ENCOURAGED. You don't see anybody getting angry in clubs. Even if you do, the guy's probably pissed cos he couldn't get ENOUGH alcohol. I know I'd be pissed if somebody took my drink away from me. No, you don't come across angry people in clubs often. Grab a girl's ass in a club and you're more likely to go home with her than she being pissed (well, unless she has a boyfriend). Everybody's mixing, everybody's happy. The more drinks consumed, the happier people are.

Heck, some people even DRIVE better when under the influence.

I'm actually thinkin of sneaking a bottle of JD or Chivas into my office. Seriously. It'll come handy when I'm under duress. Only thing stopping me from doing it is that my breath will reek of alcohol when I talk to my boss, and that'll probably get me fired. And of course, the possibility of getting really drunk on real bad days.

But in all seriousness, alcohol actually DOES keep people calm and relaxed. According to wikipedia, alcohol acts as a central nervous system depressant and causes mild euphoria and removes inhibitions. So, cops should just spray everybody with alcohol whenever there's a violent riot or outbreak, and everybody will start hugging each other. It's better than beating the crap outta them init? The harder you hit, the harder they come.

And they say football gets the world talkin? Nah. Wherever there's football, there's beer. BEER gets the world talkin.

    SOoooo...

THIS is the reason why it's justifiable, necessary even, for me to get drunk every Friday night. I ain't gonna work my ass off during the week and just read a book on a Friday night. Fuck no. I need to de-stress. I'll probably go into convulsion if I don't fulfill my minimal alcohol requirements for the week.

    Interesting

For the first time in God knows how many weeks, I have some free time in the office. So I had time to surf around the internet for abit, which was actually partly related to work cos I was looking around for news coverage on my client.

Anyways, I came across a few blogs online and decided to read blog after blog, since I had time to spare. I actually love reading random blogs, and find most of them interesting and often times hilarious. I however only read blogs by Malaysians though, as I can (usually) relate to most of them and find it interesting that a lot of Malaysians can actually write. No, I didn't mean that in a sarcastic way. I'm not saying Malaysians dont know how to write and count. All I'm saying is that there are loads of Malaysians out there who can tell brillant stories and have great perceptions on life.

Blogging is increasingly popular in Malaysia, and we were just metioning the other night on how some Malaysians become famous simply by having a great blog (i.e Jeff Ooi, Kenny Sia). Working in the PR industry, we are now increasingly seeing the 'power' of blogs as a cheap but effective communication tool. Companies are also now using famous and highly frequented blogs as a means of advertising where they pay the muthafucka just to say something nice about their product.

I don't particularly enjoy political blogs though, as I am clueless about politics and don't give two flying fucks about it. I'm more into the everyday life and experiences type of blogs. Basically, blogs I can relate to or just simply understand what they're talkin about. I also find that alot of people who work in the media industry, keep blogs (i.e Patrick Teoh, Afdlin Shauki) because I think that their opinions somewhat restrained in public and turn to blogs as one way to express their real feelings and thoughts. I think that's what most people do, well, at least that's what I do. I feel it's easier for me to express myself in writing rather than verbally. It's not of my nature to say "Hey, I don't like your fucking face, so please get the fuck away from me!" to someone's face. I'd rather bitch about him behind his back.

I enjoy Patrick Teoh's blog cos I just find him downright hilarious.

It's also interesting to accidentally stumble upon a blog of a friend or an acquaintance, or simply a person you know. While surfing around today and linking from one blog to another, I stumbled across the blog of this journalist from The Star whom I've dealt with in the past. Elizabeth Tai was the journalist who performed an interview with one of the panel of experts that worked on the Gospel of Judas. I was real glad when she was the only journalist who obliged to perform the interview at 7 in the morning. So it came as no surprise that she also kept a great blog.

I've also recently fell in love when I was introduced to this blog. If you're reading this, I would love to meet you if you do come down to KL. Love to.
