Should I stay or should I go?

Once again (and it seems like its becoming an annual routine), I've come to a crossroad with regards to my career and have to make a decision in the next two weeks.

The one factor which is keping me in this present company is the "comfort" factor. I've grown to feel comfortable and enjoy working with my colleagues in RAPR. Plus not forgetting the fact that it's just 2 minutes away from my house.

But how long can I live on the comfort factor? Sooner or later I'll have to leave anyway, and the opportunity to leave has arrived.

The thing holding me back from accepting the new position is that I feel it's not as interesting, exciting and fun. Will I be able to deliver if I don't feel comfortable working in an office which consists of mainly analyst and researchers and boring peeps?

    Random thought of the day

Ever wondered why Butter Cookies always come in the same shapes, whether its the expensive ones or the cheap Tesco or Carrefour ones? No matter which ones you buy, they always have the standard shapes and variations; the round one, the square one with sugar, the pretzel looking one with sugar, the round one with raisins, and the twirly one.

Who started these standard variations and why is it always followed? Why can't the twirley one have raisins? Why must the square ones have sugar on top? Why aren't there more shapes? Why does one of it look like a pretzel?

And why must the damn tin container always be blue???
